When the Prep period is over, the game begins and all effects of the game will be active. Players who have been hurt/killed will be healed/respawned once the prep period is over. The players, however, can die from environmental damage, like fire and falling.
During this time, players cannot harm each other. There is a 00:30 (depending on the server) second preparation period, where the players can roam around the map, searching for ammo and hiding spots. The game first starts with all players in one area.
